Would this lens fit a a6000? And would you say this is a good lens for most everyday use as far as videos and pictures ?

It will definitely fit as it is an e-mount lens. However there is a crop factor which isn't too bad. I use it as my every day walk around lens and it does deliver sharp image quality. Great in low light situations, very compact and light weight.
