It looks good, it works well, and it addresses a niche in connectedness - needing to have a great phone but not feeling comfortable with relying on the cloud. I like to have local backups of everything and this iXpand does just that. 64GB is fine for me for just the iphone but I wish it came with the lightning cable.

I just spent a joyful hour doing something with no redeeming value - nice! And this is so inexpensive - I bet a lot of people are getting one this Christmas. I think I'm most comfortable just using my phone with the Cube (you don't need the Merge goggles) but some of the "games" might be better using vr/ar goggles. The Cube is lightweight with a soft, tactile feel. Once your camera has focused on it it turns into moving objects, color-changing surfaces, and fire! This toy is totally recommended.

Pretty cool - maybe I'm easily impressed though since it is my first VR experience. The headgear is comfortable because it is made from a lightweight but relatively firm foam-like material. It is a bit soft and bendy, but holds my iphone securely. I used the piece that goes over the top of my head because I couldn't help but bobble a little and it felt kind of front-heavy. Focusing was a pain, but that might be me. I wear a weird prescription in glasses even using binoculars can be challenging for me. I wouldn't dock a star for it.
I don't know what to say about the visuals - it's awesome, but I can see me getting tired of it after a while. I wish there were more content available. Maybe if I were a kid I'd get a lot of use out of the Merge, but I'm glad I know what kind of VR experience is available at a sub-$100 price point. The whole visual experience reminds me a little of how I felt using a Viewmaster back in the 60's. At that time, and as a kid, the pictures of a Goliath grouper gaping its maw right in my face and steep moutaintop views were as awesome to me then as VR is to me now!

I'd consider this Epson 2150 a low-to-mid-priced projector, but it provides a fantastic picture at larger sizes that almost makes the need for a large flatscreen tv moot (YMMV). Sharpness, color saturation, and contrast are the best I've seen, and the variety of inputs make it useful for many purposes - not just watching a movie displayed at 90" (the biggest my dedicated indoor space can handle). Audio is a shortcoming, of course. The unit has a 10w speaker but also an aux input for powered speakers or headphones, or a receiver/speaker system. I added a good 2.1 system and watched Mad Max: Fury Road via HDMI and it was awesome. Most of that movie is sound and motion so if it is sports and action movies you watch, this could be a good option - if you add a sound system. The instruction manual states that the projector converts digital audio from the source to stereo analog out, so that's nice. It feels a little like watching a flick at the outdoor theater, but with a 1100% better picture. I need to get me some red and white striped popcorn boxes and Cheez Whiz for bad nachos.
I don't plan to mount it but lens shift, zoom, and keystone correction (to "square" the picture box) make up for any limitations of tabletop placement, as long as it is horizontally centered reasonably well. The ECO mode saves lamp life and power and is adequate for a lot of video (IMO) but is only an option. I plan to make good use of it.
In my opinion, this is priced really well for the video quality and features. It's very portable (about 7 lbs) and the lamp is rated for 4000 and 7500 (Eco mode) hours and is at this time only about $50 to replace.
Notes: 3LCD system means no "rainbow" effect on fast action video there is a variety of modes and aspect ratios to suit your needs Miracast for mirroring displays streaming from Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV can project 3D content from 3D source for use with 3D glasses 1.6x zoom and focus controls remote included - many settings can be made via the remote selections of color modes and auto iris to fine-tune the picture according to room lighting and brightness of projected video
I haven't been this excited about using an AV product in a while! I don't really have anything to complain about (except the audio) with this projector. For gaming, sports, and movies I'd definitely recommend the Epson Home Cinema 2150 for your short list if you can't or don't want to spend thousands on a projector, especially considering the relatively low cost of replacement lamps.

I'm a relatively new gamer and live in a household that streams, downloads, games, and browses - there is a lot of local and internet activity on a variety of devices. Even just for non-gamers, prioritization is enough of a reason to get this and use the truly useful and simplified control interface. Adding this router to an MSI NIC actually makes a difference. Without this router the hardware wasn't too much of an upgrade - not enough to make a difference to me and I regretted getting it but no more. Like I mentioned - it ties everything together!
Setting it up is not much different than any other router, except for the blessedly absent need for an app. You can't access this router via the Smart app like some other LInksys routers, but that's a feature I ended up not using anyway with the non-Killer AC3200 and it seems like every other gadget I've used for the last two years needs an app. Awesome.
I don't usually comment on packaging, but this is the slickest package I've ever seen and the all-black scheme of the unit is beautiful and definitely more to my taste than the blue/black scheme of their other routers. Not important, but it is something I appreciate.

There are lots of pros to list for this vacuum cleaner - some are built-in features and some are just how well this meets my expectations. This is my first vacuum with headlights and I gotta say, it's awesome.
I am a Dyson user and this Bissell compares favorably, especially in how well it picks up fine dirt, hair, and coarser particles. Both brands feel hefty and of good quality, but this Bissell outperforms the Dysons where it matters.
When first unboxed, it looks very fiddly and busy, like there are lots of connections or little parts but that's just because of all the informational tags and stickers. It takes only 1 screw to attach the handle, then place the hose ends and the onboard tools in their storage spots and it's ready to go. There is a Febreeze filter included but I skipped that part for now.
Pros: simple to assemble the wheels move well over carpeting versatile - lift-off canister is easy to maneuver off and on lighted crevice tool POWERFUL action on long hair (mine) and short hair (dog and cat) washable filter on/off switch for beater bar swivel is easy to control
Cons: it's pretty heavy not sure it's a $300 item (Dysons are overpriced too) but the quality is not overhyped

Had a really good experience with this scanner so far. I have it connected to a Windows machine (because you have to) and put it through a couple 400 page plus or minus jobs to see how well the skew correction feature performs, as well as packing the max 80 pages at a time, and there was only one problem of a double-sheet feed during. This is rated at 65ppm and it does live up to it. Fast scanning without crumpling is such a pleasure. The double-sheet feed is really awkward to fix during a many-page job, because you can't until it's done. That happened on the first run but not subsequent runs.
As the instructions tell you, don't feed an original photo or important original document without a carrier sheet (an accessory) - this isn't a flatbed scanner. I scanned a copy of an old black and white photo for inclusion in a genealogy project and it came out great. There are several useful options for manipulating color and graphics. The most useful for me is color dropout that removes color highlighting on otherwise b&w or greyscale document.
This isn't a cheap scanner but it lives up to the hype for paper handling and speed and its efficiency becomes apparent in larger jobs.
Upgrade your home office equipment with this HP Envy all-in-one printer. Its dual-band Wi-Fi support lets you print sharp, borderless photos directly from your mobile device, and the 2.7-inch color touch screen lets you configure options for printing, scanning and copying. This HP Envy all-in-one printer increases productivity as it delivers 14 ppm of black and white documents.

Certain aspects of inkjet printers are consistent enough from product to product to facilitate a review - setup routine, print speed, form factor. In these respects this HP printer is better than many I've used over the years. I skipped the manual's setup procedure on the computer by not doing it through the HP software but rather through the printer's on-screen steps, which was very simple - the same as setting up any wireless device on my network. The printer detected the network right off, with the router in another room, even.
The print speed seems the same as my older Canon MX inkjet, so no gain or loss there.
The form factor is very much nicer than any I've used - it seems hefty, but is smaller than the Canon MX it is replacing. The internal design (ink bays and paper trays) seemed intuitive. I didn't have any trouble getting around in the paper trays, though they seem hidden at first. Installing the ink was straightforward.
Two things that would really make this printer different is the life of the ink - it will take time and use to determine that - and functionality other than desktop use. Right away remote printing through email is functional, and I get a decent print of a photo on my Android phone using the HP app for that. With the app I also get printer monitoring capability. Since I use my phone more and more for device controls (streaming media devices and tv/audio control), this fits in well enough with my needs.
So far, I like this printer (no frustration with it yet).but that is without the added layer of complications of proprietary printer software on my Windows computer. All my programs (Word, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc) print just fine natively and I don't need proprietary printer software gumming up the works and NAPS2 is a good, lightweight, open source scanning utility.

These headphones are the most comfortable I've ever worn, even after more than an hour. They perform well in every way I want - great surround sound, more than adequate bass and bright midlevels, good price, and without a feature overload. If they were wireless they'd be my favorite piece of hardware! The only thing I'd change (so far) is to have a longer pc cable. The one that is included is just over 6 feet. I had to change my pc's placement so I can use my favorite chair.

This is my first web-based camera. As advertised, there are only a few steps in setting it up but like with all web-based gadgets it needs to do a firmware update before you can use it. That took 10-15 minutes, after timing out the first time.
It feels solid and well made, and assembling the mount was very easy. The plug does not take up more than one spot on a strip! That was a nice surprise. The app is used for all operations. The camera's performance is very laggy - going to "live view" after standby can take several seconds, maybe a minute or more. It feels like the app isn't responsive, and live viewing goes into standby at the drop of a hat.
The picture is great and offers a wide view. The visibility as day turns to night is better than I expected.
Pros: great camera viewing range and picture (at 720p) the app looks good seems to be a solid build
Cons: no 1080p even though it's advertised very buggy and laggy, rendering it unusable
