I use this as a PC Monitor and I must say it's fantastic. Careful tho if your buying this for 4K gaming tho b/c your gonna need more powerful GPU's than I have. I have SLI GTX 760's and there not enough to run in 4k on anything higher than medium graphics. I must say tho that this only applies to the latest high end graphically intense games like MGS 5 Ground Zero's, Dragon Age Inquisition, Star Citizen, Far Cry 4. Besides my weeny PC having a tough time I'd highly recommend it. everything out side of gaming like movie watching playing other non high end games at 4k if they support it look great no hiccup at all. just be careful with text up scaling a lot of games will support 4k resolutions but don't have text up scaling which the picture may look nice but your not gonna be a able to read a darn thing, which stinks but I'm sure more and more games will catch up once they get enough feed back. I only seem to run into this on lower end games where they don't have HUD scaling options. all The High end games I mentioned earlier already have this in anticipation of 4k resolution.
It has a very good anti glare coating on it that helps things look super crisp at 4k even in a bright light room. It has many different screen color mode settings that do come in handy in case your playing in a low lit room because the screen is quite bright encase you don't want it that bright in a low lit room. It's has 2 HDMI ports both of which I have my PS3 and PS4 plugged into and they both work and look great at their respective 1080p resolutions. I tested My Wii U on it and it looks great as well.
The main plug it has is a DisplayPort 1.2 which Is important that it's 1.2 because you can only get 4k PC gaming at 60 hz when it's in 1.2 mode which it comes normally in 1.1 mode which you have to change by hand at first. Believe me your gonna notice the screen lag when it's at 4k 30hz, although I it ran the fine/smooth without lag if my pc was set to 1080p 30hz.
My Best Buy number: 0556002329
I would recommend this to a friend!

Minimum Laptop requirements

I am looking at connecting this monitor to the Toshiba Quosmiox70-AST3G25
with HDMI 1.4 port (with 4K Ultra HD output capacity)

The laptop screen is 1920 x 1080 with Nvidia GTX770M with Optimus Technology.

What is the best resolution I can get with this monitor with the above specs????
You can get 4k I through one of the 2 HDMI ports but your gonna notice screen lag because it's capped to 30hz on HDMI. This monitor also has a Display port 1.2 which I use with my PC and i can run it at 4k 60hz and is butter smooth. I tried it at 4k 30hz and it's irritating to watch your mouse skip all over the screen and the screen feels like it's bouncing when your scrolling on a web pages instead of scrolling smooth. At 1080p 30hz HDMI or DisplayPort it ran smooth.
Your laptop is HDMI 1.4 which is limited to 30Hz which the newer HDMI 2.0 can run 60Hz lag free also the HDMI ports on this are only HDMI1.4 so yea...
Basically if you don't have Display Port plug on your PC/Laptop don't buy this.

I have an
i7-4820k CPU @ 3.70GHz
16 GB ram
2 GTX 760 GPU's running in SLI mode.
