Great router with plenty of wifi bandwidth

Bought this to replace the wifi on my combo Motorola surfboard cable modem. The wifi on that was Ok when only one or two devices but was very slow when someone was streaming or gaming. Was unsure about buying a new wifi router if it would really be any better. I looked for AC specifically, and QOS. And found it in this Asus router.
This more than met my expectations.
It has plenty of wifi capacity I don't even need the QOS. I have 3 devices streaming, plus tablet, pc, and 3 smart phones. No pauses or buffering. I tried the QOS just to test and it is super easy to set up.
This router is amazing, easy to set up. You don't have to know anything about routers. It's that simple. Very easy to use and well designed interface. Lots of features. Parental control, scheduling, diagnostics, and monitoring. Plus lots more.
Strong signal throughout house and out in driveway too. Plenty of bandwidth.
I was very impressed with it. Price is good too. I was looking at Tp-link and linksys and ended up choosing the Asus, it wasn't that much more and is well worth the little extra. I'm glad I didn't go for the 3100 I really didn't need to go that high the 1900 is plenty.
Great router. Never have to restart like some cheaper brands. It just works.
It looks good too.
I would most definitely recommend this router you will not be disappointed.

Works well. Battery lasts almost a week on a charge, unless I wear it to bed then its much shorter before needing a recharge. Lots of features, more than i could imagine, way more than a step tracker. Steps, heart rate, floors climbed, active minutes, and more. The display has lots of info, but it is customizable too with the dashboard app and the app has much more information once you sync.

For home use with 2 laptops,2 ps3's & streaming videos on netflix what is a good router
Definitely go with Asus and go for future expansion with an AC router like 1900. Any smaller or something like b/g/n router and the wifi bandwidth is too small to handle that many devices at once. Trust me I went through it already. Doesn't have to be Asus brand but get AC capability. I prefer the Asus they are a good name and competitive priced. Very easy to use and configure. No rebooting like d-links or other cheaper brands.
