Our motto is always that if you aren't so accomplished at something then you'd better be sure you have the best tools possible. Only a real pro can work well with inferior tools... After having our old Cuisinart for probably 30 years, it was time to replace it. This was a serious upgrade, and wow, does it ever show! Though larger, it still fits in the same footprint. The blades are really heav duty and the smaller bowl makes cleanup a breeze for most jobs. The large one makes party prep a snap! I can't believe we waited so long to buy this!

Apple is fine, DirecTV Now is horrible

I bought this because it's the only streaming player I can use for my DirecTV Now subscription. It works fine, but DirecTV Now is HORRIBLE!! This player is really not much different from my Roku, except that it has a hard drive. If you need to store stuff, this is the way to go. If not, others are just as good at a much lower price point.

I was all excited to upgrade from my ink jet all in one. I wish I never had. This thing is a major pain. It won't duplex without taking the pages out and replacing them in the tray. There's no way to run multiple docs as duplex. You have to do them one at a time. It won't auto feed (I have to press a button for each job). It took me an hour to figure out how to scan....
Everything about this printer is hard. All the online help I could find in several hours of searching has been unable to help me make this work as seamlessly as my $100 all in one.
I'll just use it until the toner has been consumed, then I'm throwing it away!

How can you stream YouTube on the sick?
This is actually very easy, when it works. You plug in the stick to your hdmi port, add power and then sign up at the Roku web site. However, for MORE than two weeks I've been unable to use my new roku because ROKU IS UNABLE TO CREATE NEW CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS!! This is inconceivable to me. Their help desk keeps telling me that it is a "known problem" & that they are "working on it" & "try again tomorrow." But nothing ever changes. Don't buy a ROKU until they get this fixed!! That is, unless you don't care to use it...
