The spinning platter sometimes makes noise sounding like it is off track, when it is not and I cannot figure out how to make it stop. The good part is, there is a feature to have the platter stop spinning. I also like the removable rack and the sound the microwave makes when the timer is up.

This was not the lower model, however, the knobs are not stainless steel and the top part is only partly stainless steel. The logo looks cheap-a black sticker. Wish I would've known it wasn't going to match the logo on all the other Whirlpool appliances I got. Also, the burners are a little rusty, 1 month in. Works well and lights fast.
