A necessity for weddings!

This is my 2nd Canon 5D MK III. Now both my 2nd shooter and I are using 5D MK III's and have a 5D MK II as a backup. The 61pt autofocus is probably one the best improvements over the 5D MK II's 12pt focusing system. Better high ISO performance than the MKII, and more FPS. I'm looking forward to see what the 5D MK IV will have to offer.

I don't have any experience with the L version of this lens, but I couldn't justify the extra money on a lens that won't see nearly as much use as my 24-70 2.8L and 70-200 2.8L.
It has performed fantastically for ring shots. I'm anxious to try it out as a portait lens as well!

I've used this lens on two recent engagement shoots, and a wedding, and loved having a lens a bit wider than my 24-70 2.8L for some unique shots.
