Poor fitting pedestal

I purchased and returned this pedestal because it was smaller than the washer that I bought along with this. My current whirlpool pedestal fits my other washer perfectly corner to corner, this one does not...it looks as if it would tip over once I began to wash. I returned it and bought a top loader from best buy. I suggest going into the store prior to purchasing to see what you are getting.

I purchased this washer to replace my current whirlpool front load washer. When I finally received it, I didn't realize how much smaller it was than my original washer and how much more that I spent this time buying it. I did return it due to the size of the washer and because of the ill fitting pedestal that I purchased to place the washer on (it was too small). I didn't give it a poor rating because I didn't have an opportunity to use it. I just won't purchase large appliances online without viewing in the store first. You really don't know what you are getting unless you see it in person and also speak with an employee that works in that specific department.
