I was having connection problems with my cable modem. I replaced the main splutter coming into the house with this splutter and it corrected the connection problems and allowed me to get back on line.

What's great about it: internet was down and was able to get it back up by replacing the splitter
What's not so great: i didnt buy it sooner
I would recommend this to a friend!
