I really like my weather radio we have had one for a number of years. Our last one we got after we had a fire in our house two years ago, It was working well but we had a bunch of new kittens and they began chewing on cords, after splicing the cord 3-4 times it was too short to splice any more and yet I could not keep batteries in it all the time. I tried to find a new cord for the old one and realized it was more cost effective to buy a new radio than cord which may or may not work. So now I have the new radio and it works quite well.
What's great about it: It works well and awakens us in the night as it should
What's not so great: The cord has a transformer on the cord, with a small cord that my cats tend to chew.
