Once again, this is a great addition to the Hue product line. I am working towards replacing most of my bulbs with Hue bulbs. I really like the concept Hue bulbs working with Apple's HomeKit. Creating rooms and scenes for controlling lights. The only thing which would make this a better product is if it were color.

Get everything you need to control your computer with this Insignia wired mouse and keyboard combo set. I have a laptop which I am always taking places. But, when at home, it is a secondary computer. I bought this keyboard for two reasons, 1) because it connects via USB and not a wireless protocol, 2) it is not battery powered. All wireless protocols are disabled on my laptop. Battery powered keyboard are always running low on battery power (especially when you have not used it in a while and need to use it quickly). Additionally,on the laptop's built-n keyboard, I am always accidentally placing my fingers on the pad -resulting in the cursor moving from where I expect it to be. Bottom Line - a good, inexpensive keyboard which works 100% of the time.

I really enjoy the "Philips - Hue White And Color Ambiance A19 Smart Led Light Bulb - Multicolor". I am working on a totally automated house (or as close as I can get with today's products) and the Hue fits with Siri. I enjoy watching TV and asking Siri to turn the lights on, off, dim, or a specific color. I value asking Siri to turn on the lights in the middle of the night in the whole house. My DIY goal is to combine lights (Hue), thermostats (Nest), motion sensors, cams, security into a single overall automated system and these Hue lights are a great part of that system.

Enjoy our new Nest system. We wave a two story home with separate up & down stairs thermostats. We installed tw nest thermostats. Setup was easy and the nest system learned our daily schedule. Manually setting away / home mode from our iPhone / iPad is easy. Temp adjustments are quick. One screen on our iPhones showing an overview of both is helpful. Detail screens showing usage info was eye opening. I am planning on expanding the system with other "works with nest" and IFTTT products for an overall home energy efficient (lower utility bill) system.

I have 2 Hunter ceiling fans with 3 bulb light fixtures. Even dimmable LEDs flicker and strobe in them when dimmed. Has anyone tried these in Hunter ceiling fans?
I installed four in my Hunter fan and noticed no dimming when the fan is on verses off. (I have two wall switches which control the fan and lights separately.)

How do you secure this device? Seems like it would be easy to hack.
I read online that these devices can be hacked and used to monitor activities. Is this being fixed and how do I know who logs into the device?
I feel that any internet system can be "hacked", but I also feel that (a) Nest has placed enough security and (b) owners should create good passwords to secure their data.
