Finally on blu-ray. This is such a fantastic film. I watched it often when it first came out, and was out on video. But then it's just been such a long wait, and I hadn't seen it in years. Santa dropped this off in my stocking, so you can guess what I was watching that night!
Great music, authentic acting (since the actors were actually mostly musicians from Dublin), and a fun story.

Not bad for the price

Can't expect too much out of a drone at this price level. It'll be good for my 10yo to learn to control one without crashing it and being out a wad of cash. It doesn't want to lift-off straight up, so it's taken some getting used to, but like I said, for the price, it flies and takes pics and video.

Nice monitor, great price

I needed more real estate for editing video via my MacBook Pro. I recently decided to move from my 8 year old MacPro to my 1 year old laptop, and didn't want to have to spend the money on Cinema Displays when I do critical color correction on an external pro monitor anyway.
The 21:9 aspect ratio is perfect for editing video. I use DaVinci Resolve, and the layout sits perfectly on this monitor, leaving the screen on my laptop available for producer notes, email, etc.
I will probably eventually upgrade to a larger display, but I'll definitely stick with the 21:9 aspect ratio. It's perfect.
Colors are pretty accurate, image looks good. Stand is very flimsy, though.

These movies are both a couple of my favorites, both are worthy of repeat viewing. Unfortunately these blu-ray transfers are nothing special. I'd love to see these get a new, high-quality transfer. I've already bought them both on laserdisc, dvd, and now this cheap blu-ray. Cheap as in low-price, and cheap as in low-quality. They both seem to be the same transfers as the DVD but up-converted to HD. Audio level is about 10db lower than other blu-ray discs.
Not horrible transfers, but nothing to get excited about. The Mask, especially, deserves a much better video transfer.
