Great option to use older sound system with 4K TV

This was a great option to be able to use an older but still great Bose home theater system without digital,optical or HDMI connections. This adapter did the trick to connect the new Sony 4K technology.

Does this do audio as well or just video?

My issue was no audio except for the tv selection. When using Netflix we had video but no sound. This was the answer

Apple TV 3 compatible?

Will this let me connect an Apple TV 3 to a stereo receiver?

Best answer

Yes, my Apple TV works great with the Sony 4K tv. No problem at all. The HDMI has 4 ports on the tv and one is dedicated to the Apple TV end we use it even though the new remote can connect directly to Netflix and other apps via WiFi.
