After updating firmware it's a brick

Received direct from Best Buy's distributor and the firmware was over a year old. I updated it and it literally bricked it. Took internal OS three minutes to load. Contacted tech support via chat super quick at TP link and she emailed me a BETA firmware that fixed it. Signal for wifi isn't as good as the latest linksys router that's more expensive. Buy linksys not TP link yet. Their business switches are great though! Just not their home division.

Decent Apps & a terrible remote

I purchased this within a month or so after the original release. The overall device experience is decent, and better than the previous version. Apps are decent, airplay has improved especially with shooting your mac display screen to the Apple TV. We were super excited for the newest feature of video games on the ATV. We downloaded a pinball game and the response time on the remote was terrible. Went out and bought a game controller and that had a better response time, but not where it needs to be by any means. Would only purchase this for TV/movie/music watching and not the games.

Eh, I guess it really depends on you and others perception. It's very "low-profile" in my opinion. They ARE NOT thick/tacky like the Original Rope Lights from what 1999?
