I'll have to admit... they do not feel as solid as the OEM product but they certainly get the job done. Overall, cannot complain. I wanted a black mount so my cameras would go unnoticed and these mounts plus the rubberized skins mean that unless you've got a keen eye... you won't see my Arlo system watching you as you approach my house.

This is my third Nest thermostat (I move a lot) and i've loved each one of them. I've installed all three of the thermostats and I know little to nothing about electrical or HVAC work. There is a Nest compatibility website you can check to ensure your HVAC system would be compatible. My new home came with a Honeywell Lyric device that couldn't compare. Although the Honeywell Lyric was brand new, I immediately spent the money for Nest and have been very happy. I won't be getting the full Nest suite for this home because the other products haven't proven as essential the thermostat. The local incentives and rebates make it even greater of a value.

The setup process and programming isn’t as simple as the generation 1 system was. Otherwise it’s a good system and good value. I would recommend Simolisafe as a company, I’ve had them years and have been happy with them. The generation 1 system seems to crap out after three years and a battery change or two... let’s hope generation 2 improves on that.

I own a Kēvo generation 1 smart lock. I’ve read good things about August and wanted to give it a shot, having experienced some frustration with Kēvo. I’m fat and away very much impressed with the smart lock, it’s very easy to set up and although ridiculous looking on the inside, gives no hint of a smart lock outside (I see this as a major plus.) I’m not sure how long batteries will last but many of the features are convenient and make life easy. The connection from the app to the smartlock is very fast whether on Bluetooth or using the remote feature.

This machine is a great buy... splendid even depending on what you’re looking for. My requirements were an inexpensive machine with great performance. The intel i5 processor keeps the machine snappy and speedy when running programs for work. To clarify, I don’t run intense programs. I run the office suite and a lot of internet based programs from the Chrome browser and other cloud computing based programs. The laptop remains speedy (not blazing fast but speedy enough) with many programs open. It doesn’t start out the fastest but give it a day or two and you’ll see performance improve as it gets to know what programs you use. The plasticky, cheap feeling chassis is actually a plus for me because the machine looks good enough (although it feels cheap) that I don’t worry if something happens to the machine. I bought this computer for work and couldn’t be happier at the blend of performance and practical, functionality. I’m pleased with this splendid little machine. Definitely recommended depending on what your priorities are.

The product was free. Honestly I was expecting a McAfee equivalent, I was a little unnerved at the installation process and demand it uninstall my McAfee software already installed on my computer. The directions instruct you to download the software from a website, follow instructions and set up the product. Well, the download process didn't inspire confidence but in all fairness, everything else seems on the up and up. Lets just hope the product works as well as other, established brands.

I like Dyson products, i'll gladly pay the premium for a well engineered product whose function and aesthetic are great. This Pure Cool Link gets the job done in a cleverly designed product. The ability to control the unit via the app and a remote is a nice perk. If you're looking to purchase the unit as a fan, be forewarned that its good but not great. If you're expecting it to cool (referencing the title of the product), it's pretty 'meh.' Where the unit excels is it's smart design, long life filter, clean air output and very, very quiet operation. Actually, unless it's on it's highest setting you'd be hard pressed to hear it. If you're REALLY smart about the purchase, you'll price match it with other vendors if BB isn't the cheapest price. I've consistently found that BB gladly price matches and offers exceptional customer support. I'm a fan.

Sears Outlet and other vendors want substantially more money to cover the same product. Best Buy is very up front and clear with what is covered and what is not covered in their warranty. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my LG counter depth had a $200 price to cover the unit for five years. I'm genuinely not worried about any noises or issues because I know i'm covered.

We have 2 Nest thermostats, 2nd generation - if we’re running the a/c and set the temperature to 70, the Nest doesn’t kick on the a/c until the temperature is 72 degrees, then runs until 69 degrees. Does the 3rd generation fix this issue?

I have an African grey and he has a lot o dander. Would I have to Chang filters more offtend
No. My pets shed a lot. You'll have to be okay with the app reading 'Poor Air Quality' frequently until it has had good time to clean the air. The filter is large and has lots of surface area, so you'd be hard pressed to clog the filter.
