Solid but not Excellent Sound

These little speakers fit into the environment in an almost invisible footprint. I have purchased three of them and now simply have a five zone sound system. I had outdoor speakers, my home theater and I added one to the master bedroom, the family room, and my office.
Bass is good, almost too strong for the rest of the sound. I found them lacking in the vocals in many songs, but not all songs. Since these are used mostly for background music, they work quite well.
While $180 may seem like a lot for a just adequate speaker, the cost justification is in the ease at which the enter the system. Plug it in, turn it on, synch it, name it, you are playing music in a new room. Compare that to running wires, it's a no brainer.
Now, I don't want to come across as negative about the sound, rather I would just have preferred something a little sweeter with stronger vocal performance. With the app, you can adjust low, midrange, and high frequencies. With that adjustment, I've gotten them sounding pretty good in my environment. Which by the way is pretty large as I have 10' ceilings.
They perform well. Consider them if you have a Yamaha system that supports them.

WiFi Plus Cloud Backup

This is an amazingly easy product to set up. Pretty much turn it on, connect to it and follow directions. There are a plethora of details you can dig into to customize and add to security, but it's pretty good out of the box setup.
The thing that I like the most is it allows a USB3 connected hard drive that can be used to back up devices on your internal network. Plus, there is a really slick utility you setup on your devices and they just back up real time. It keeps versions of the files, so you can recover deleted files as well as "oops" saves of a file over a good version. Very cool.

Very Easy Installation

This unit is very easy to install. The cardboard template makes alignment on the wall easy. The width of the wall plate makes it possible to hit studs pretty much regardless of their location. My placement was pretty much as off center as imaginable, but it worked. My interior walls have 24" centers, so if you have 16" centers it'll be easier still. Drill the holes, screw in the four bolts. Attach the unit to the TV, hang it up. It clicked into place so easily I was almost afraid to let go! Then you can slide it side to side to get it centered where you want it. Lots of horizontal adjustment. There is also leveling screws on the mount to adjust about 1/2 in up on each side to level it.
The only thing I needed to do was buy a 90 degree HDMI adapter because it's so tight against the wall that I couldn't angle it down the way I wanted to. My TV has the HDMI low down on the TV. So it hit the wall. But because it tilts up and down, I was able to pull the HDMI, put the 90 degree adapter on it, and plug it in without unmounting the TV.

I purchased 2 of these from BestBuy and set them up in stereo mode. When I play music to them from my iPhone the stereo goes out of sync after a few minutes and the only fix is to stop the music and restart it. Anybody else run into this? Solution? Thanks

I have not, but I'm not using Bluetooth, it sounds like you might be. If you stream off the internet, the speakers handle the interaction and I've had virtually perfect results now for over a year. We have these run into seven zones and I have never heard a synch issue.

Will this pair with an Echo Dot?

Yamaha says mid-December it will have an Alexa skill. Right now you can Bluetooth connect it to play music.

This CyberPower PowerTrip 480 CPS480TG2U power inverter delivers 480W peak power (400W continuous) and features 3 household power outlets and two 5V, 2.1-amp USB ports for flexible connectivity, so you can easily power electronics in your vehicle.

Will this be safe in a tractor trailer for a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot?

I doubt it's anywhere near the capacity for those items. All of the items mentioned probably draw in excess of 500 watts. Which would mean this would not power them.

Step up your Ultra HD experience with this 75-inch Samsung LED TV. Its 4K Color Drive technology provides vivid color details for realistic viewing, and its UHD upscaling capability enhances lower-resolution media content. Operate this voice-controllable Samsung LED TV and its connected devices easily with its included OneRemote controller.

How wide and deep is the stand?

It's about 4' wide and about 12-13" deep. I have it wall mounted, but it goes back a few (3-4) inches, mounts to the back of the TV, then comes forward. I imagine it's only a few inches forward of the front of the screen as well. It's pretty sleek looking.
