This was easy to set up, and works well. I like the on-screen format and the appearance of the apps.
The only drawback is that it does not allow daisy-chaining with other devices. I have three input devices (Roku, Blu-ray player, and DVR) but only two inputs in my Receiver, so I had to buy a separate HDMI switch. With my old Visio device I did not have to do that. I would have given this 5 stars but for that drawback.

This is the third pair of earbuds I bought in a search for suitable replacements for the buds that came with my phone. The first sounded very good, but the "cable thump" was horrible. The second did not sound as good and had cable thump issues. The Bose sound good, are comfortable and secure when outdoors hiking, and have no cable thump. I can also hear things (people, birds, etc) when using them. These are keepers!

It would be better if it would link to a wrist device other than the Polar brand, so I would not have to hold my phone to see my current heart rate. That is simply an issue of every manufacturer using a different standard for communication.

The Fitbit is attractive and comfortable, and I like the functions it provides. The associated Fitbit app is the best in the market - clear, clean, informative, and efficient.
The serious flaw is that the heart rate display is almost completely unreadable outdoors. I walk vigorously, and would have to stop, remove my sunglasses, and hold the device just so to read it. I eventually replaced the Fitbit with a different brand.
I did not check the reliability of the heart rate readings.

How does the Fitbit - Charge HR Activity Tracker rate against other brands of Fitbits?
I compared the Fitbit Charge HR against the comparable Garmin (Vivosmart HR)and Polar (A360) devices. The Fitbit app is head and shoulders better that the others. The Garmin is much easier to use outdoors. The Fitbit is more compact and more comfortable. Neither will connect to a chest strap heart rate sensor, which would provide more reliable data. The Polar will connect to a chest strap sensor but is bigger and bulkier that the others. If outdoors use is not an issue, I would choose the Fitbit. If outdoors use is important the Garmin is a better choice. If really accurate heart rate info is important, probably a different type of device is best for you.
