I was a founder and played quite a bit at launch. The game is quite a bit of fun with a lot of kinks to work out. The addition of Battle Royale has made the game even more fun and added infinite replayability for sure. I don’t know that I recommend paying for the full game right now, but free Battle Royale is absolutely worth it.

The velvet cups made my ears sweat almost immediately. The sound quality was good, but not really any better than the various $100 headsets out there. And the fact that they're open didn't really help all that much. You can hear yourself speaking to a degree, but once there's audio coming through, I found myself shouting to hear myself. They're pretty barebones otherwise. There's no mute button or any kind of inline controls, the microphone isn't removable or even adjustable beyond swiveling up and down. They also fit a bit tight, which doesn't help when they're already very hot.
There are better choices out there for sure, especially for the price.

The Steelseries website says that the Arctis 5 is compatible with PC, Mac, Mobile, PS4, Xbox One and VR. Your specifications seem to leave out the Xbox One. Why is that?

How bright is the Arctis 5, when you mute the mic in a dark area? For me, the mic is going to be muted most of the time. Thanks
It's VERY bright and very red. Impossible to ignore in your peripheral vision. Very blinding, in my opinion.
