Great Lock

This lock comes with both square and round plates which is great. The app is great with installation with pics and easy to follow instructions. I use the lock with apple home and have been thrilled with the ability to lock and unlock the door while away from home. The finish and build are quaintly. The only small draw back is battery replacement it has 3 screws that hold the case on but one is on the bottom so it is an issue with space for a screw driver due to distance from the door handle.

will I be able to control this remotely? such as 400 miles away if I am on data/wifi wi my phone? the bluietooth specification makes me think it needs to be in range....

Yes with apple home and a newer gen Apple TV you can control it over cellular service.
