We returned an SVS subwoofer and upgraded to this Martin Logan since it had 4 times the power at 2 times the price. We have a concrete slab foundation and the SVS just couldn't cut the mustard but this one, once installed we had to turn down to close to the lowest level, so it has plenty of "juice". Highly recommend.

This stand is nice looking and depending on your setup may meet your needs well. The biggest shortcoming of the stand is that the side cabinets are too narrow for many electronic components and the center cabinet, while plenty wide enough for one component will not fit two larger components side-by-side. So barring those limitations it is a good looking cabinet.

Get big bass in a small package with this SVS subwoofer. The 12-inch driver pumps plenty of powerful bass with low distortion, and it delivers precision performance for HD music and movies. Condensed into a 13-inch cabinet, this SVS subwoofer is small enough to tuck into a corner, and it's 300W of power delivers larger-than-life boom.

I listened to several versions of B&W and this provide the best "bang for the buck" of all of them for my needs. If I was listening intently to great music I would have gotten the next level up but most of my music is background and for movies these speakers provided the fullest sound without paying more for the higher frequency response of the pricier model.
