This is a handy item because it is dual purpose. My wife's mini computer has the USB ports in back, so this makes it a lot easier to access. Perfect replacement for my wife's dead Dell Studio

Great little package at a great price. We've had this for a while now and it works great. Windows 10 upgrade was smooth and easy. My wife loves it. I just upgraded the RAM to 16 Gig - took all of about 30 seconds. Would recommend to anyone looking for a small computer for general use (Facebook, email, games). Do note that it does not have a DVD drive those are becoming obsolete anyway.

can you plug this into a usb port on a tv and then use it to plug in a flashdrive to view pic on tv? our usb connection on the back of tv is hard to get to
It should, but you'd probably be better off getting a USB extension cord - I don't know if the TV would be capable of reading more than one USB device at a time - which would make this item overkill. Plus the cord isn't all that long, so your not gaining a lot.

Can this hub be power from the device bus if a power supply is unavailable?
If there is no available power supply, will the device still function using the power from the device bus?
When you have it plugged into a powered USB port, it does not require the AC power cord. It will charge devices using the power supplied by the USB port.
