I remember seeing this in the seventies when it came out. It scared the heck out of me. For some reason up in till a few years back I'd always thought this was based on a true story. I must say that it still holds up. Director Tobe Hooper along with John Carpenter really set the bar for horror films.

It's hard to follow up a great movie like "Marvels Avengers".
But this film does stand on its own. I love that they brought in mutants I meant miracles with Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver. And being a James Spader fan helps. It's still a very enjoyable movie.

I've always thought of this movie as a direct sequel to "Captain America The First Avenger". This movie has flash back's from only Caps movie
versus the two Iron man's,Hulk and Thor films. Even the soundtrack is by Alan Silvestry.
This is easily one of the MCU's
best movies. This movie works great because of the previous movie's building up to this.

I have been waiting for while for this one to finally get remastered and put on blue ray. This one along with the original Halloween the first and last Nightmare on Elm Street and the first two Hellraiser movie's are the gold standard of horror films. This movie always seems to get over looked. This is a real classic.

Now it may be my third favorite Cap movie I still believe the "First Avenger" is the best comic book movie ever made and "The Winter Soldier" is right there with the first Avengers film as maybe the next best. This one's right up there. I already own the original steel book, but I like the new cover.

I just re watch all five movies. Unfortunately I watched them out of order. The weakest one is the last one but it still pretty darn good. I'm a fan of the first like everyone but I really came to appreciate "DIE HARD 2" more after watching all five films. I also love "DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE" which I think is a great sequel. Some things are over the top but who cares. Bruce Willis may just be my all time favorite actor. This is probably the best box set I own. Well maybe the Marvel phase one is just a tad better.

I have been thinking about trying this one for a while. I miss it at the theater when it first came out. After watching it I thought it came across as Logan's run meets Robin Hood. I'm really more of a fan of Justin and Amanda. I am also a big science fiction fan though this isn't an original idea it was still very enjoyable. It is not a great movie but it's somewhere between good and very good.

This movies actually takes place in the late eighties during the Reagan era. You would not know this bye the movie previews. It reminds me of the Bourne movies with a female lead .

I remember the original move Westworld and it's sequel Future world in the seventies. I loved both film's. I looked forward to seeing this series. I think it is very good just a lot of repeated scenes which can get tedeus. I think season two will be really good. The first season is basically a build up to the robots going wild.
