This handy little thing is great for watching movies when traveling, or even as a tv in rooms without one. The only drawback is that it requires a dark room but that is not a huge negative given it's size. It is good for PowerPoint presentations for a small group but loses resolution quickly as you increase the screen size beyond what it is designed for.
For movies where you don't need a lot of detail (i.e. you are not reading credits) it is watchable well beyond what the manufacturer claims. I was able to watch a marvel movie in a dark room with a 300" picture.

Looking for a basic projector to show movies in the backyard while the kiddos are in the pool. (day and night, but mostly at night) Any owners recommend this projector? Thanks, BL
Would work at night but it simply isn't powerful enough during the day.
I was able to watch a movie in my living room at night with about a 300" screen (on a sheet). But any outdoor light will wash it out.
