It was the only switch available at Best Buy, so I purchased it. It was fairly easy to install and works well with my system. I would like to have the cables a bit longer so as to make placement a bit easier. All in all I'm satisfied with the switch.

What's not so great: Cables a bit short.

does it work with 7 and vista
Have not tried it with Vista and 7, but I would imagine it will work.

Yes, it definitely will. Thats how I'm using it - with XP pro and Windows 8.
