I am loving this fridge because I previously had been cheap and bought a freezer-on-top model, so we had to bend way over to see what was on the top shelf, and even then, there was food in the back which was forgotten and went bad. So this is a huge improvement! At counter depth it feels a bit shallow when you open the doors; however, the doors hold a lot right there, and besides, how many layers of food, going back, do you want, need, or see? That is the stuff that is forgotten and goes bad. And now I will get on a little soap box: if you eliminate the soda and other junk, you will have plenty of space for veggies, fruits, meat, cheese, milk, and other fresh, whole foods. Many condiments, BBQ sauces, mustards etc will fit in the doors, and even many large drink containers. Also, the shelf heights are easily customizable, and left and right side are separate. I noticed on another website one star reviews because that site had mis-stated the dimensions; otherwise people almost universally love this fridge. Some complain that you have to open both doors in order to open a flat drawer that goes all the way across the fridge at the bottom of that compartment. So yes, you do. That is not a big deal! If there are things you use a lot and that would bother you, there is a model with a separate drawer there so get that. We don't use the ice maker so we turned it off and the fridge is nearly silent. Again, some detractors take off stars because their fridge is noisy; you need to turn off the ice maker if yours is really loud. There is a button at the top of the freezer compartment. Anyway, ours is silent, and I do mean you cannot hear a thing while standing right next to it. At counter-depth, it looks built-in. I am very happy with it. I should also say, our delivery/ installer did not take any time to level or center the fridge, and we have been too busy to fix it yet. We need to add a new piece of trim across the top, center and level the fridge. Then it will look built-in. (I bought on sale at a great price. Also, I am cheap.)

This machine was a step-up for us. It is a more solidly-built machine than our old Whirlpool, which I had thought was fine while I had it. This one is just very well-built and again the word "solid" is the best description. The racks glide nicely, it is super-quiet, and we chose the flat front as our other appliances (LG) have handles that would not match KitchenAid handles. It is sleek and we like it. The silverware basket takes a little getting used to, but most do as they are all different. My husband love the machine and he is he one who runs it (he is a clean freak.) Our dishes are rinsed and nearly clean when they go in. The glasses especially come out sparkling bright shiny clean. We are happy with the machine. Bought on sale. Not sure why anyone would need anything more expensive.

I really didn't think I would care about the stove when I bought new kitchen appliances; I really only wanted a new refrigerator. However, for some reason, I am really loving this stove! Even my husband, who cannot make tea, has started helping me cook dinner! I didn't think I would use the griddle, but I have used it weekly: for fish filets, and last night for flank steak. Hubby made smashed potatoes on the simmer burner (boiled them first in the microwave.) I love the super-power burner for boiling water quickly, and the simmer burner goes really, really, really low, which is useful for sauces and for keeping things warm that you really don't want to cook any more while you finish up something else. I had just bought a toaster oven with 12" pizza capacity as we make pizza every Friday night; however, the new oven is hotter and the pizza better, so I returned the toaster oven. Also, I bought for $6 a Tru-temp oven thermometer to check the temps in the oven as I just got it installed 2 days before Christmas and I did not want to ruin the big dinner. Many of my friends, with super-premium ovens that cost literally 10x as much as mine have had problems with the temperature being off. Well, this one runs about 15-20 degrees hot, which is fine as I just set my temps down a little bit. I think the stove looks high end, and on sale it was the same price as I had paid 15 years ago for my white one. I am very happy with the stove, although the black shiny top is hard to get smudge-free. It kind of smears around. Oh I also bought some bright red nail polish and put a drop on the top of each burner knob so I can glance down and see that they are all off. I liked the red on other brands and for $5 I now have it too.

For some reason, at the last minute we had to choose a different model microwave while in the store finalizing the purchase of our kitchen suite. We ended up with this one which cost a little more than the original one we had chosen, but I was ok with it because it supposedly has a more powerful exhaust fan; 4 speeds vs. 3, moves 400 cubic feet of air / minute vs. 300. However, the fan is loud in my opinion, and the one time thus far that I have created smoke with my cooking I saw it going up in the general direction of the exhaust but not in the grate/ filter area where one would assume it should be drawn. Smoke goes up regardless. So I'm not sure about how well the exhaust fan works. I had cooking smells in the house despite running it on turbo the whole time. The interior is gray, whereas the one we had originally chosen was blue like the interior of the oven we chose, and the clock read-out is also a different color than that on the stove. I would have preferred matching appliances (both are LG of course.) Lastly, the black around the perimeter of the window is so wide that I cannot see what is going on inside unless I stand on my tiptoes and nearly put my nose on the glass. I am 5'7", and I don't like to stand that close to the microwave while it is running. Oh one more point: our previous microwave had "express" buttons, so if you just pushed 3, you got 3 minutes on high. Now I have to push 3-0-0-start. I am ńot too lazy to push 4 buttons, but the express was very nice. And the more buttons that need pushing, the sooner it wears out I am sure. So, I like it fine, mainly because I bought all nice SS appliances and replaced old white ones. Just remembered! It is hard to keep the shiny black face, especially near the handle and controls, smudge-free, and we are a household of two careful adults. It s hard to even clean off the fingerprint-smudges; it just smears around.

how do i clean the stainless steel doors on my lg fridge?

all of my other appliances are Samsung silver finish. Will this match?
All of the SS appliances I saw while shopping for mine had the same finishes. The thing you want to look at is the handles. If they are very different, that would look odd. I went with all LG for that reason, instead of mixing brands, although I did get a KitchenAid dishwasher because they have a flat front model. I forget now what Samsung handles look like, but most manufacturers make a distinctive handle for that reason: to make you buy the whole matching suite.

Are the inside shelves adjustable ( not the ones on door) and if so do you have to move entire shelf or can you adjust half? TY!
The shelves are very easily adjustable, and the left and right sections are separate.
