Great storage, but mechanics are flimsy

Storage is great, bought it on sale which was the main driver for this.
USB 3.0 is awesome--but here's the reason I can't suggest it to friends:
the design.
The mechanism which retracts/extends the connector isn't high quality, which means the connector slips out into the open when you don't manually force it to do so--this means it's hanging out in the open while being on your keychain.
If this is sitting in your safe, no worries. If this is going to be on your keychain, think again and get one with a cap.

Functional, but flawed

For the price, this was great. However, the mechanical slider to make the connector protrude is flimsy and I felt like it was going to break with just a few uses.
I'd pass on this.

Pass on by, get McAfee

Received this anti virus software with the purchase of my laptop. If I didn't get it for free, I'd probably have passed on it all together.
Now that it's installed, I'm still not too impressed with it.
Good = light on the performance of the laptop, configurable to run period scans of the system (like any other software),
Bad = intrusive and constantly notifies you of non-critical issues.
There was nothing terrible about the software, but the UI and capabilities feel like it's a first-attempt by the company. I don't care about antivirus for my android so that wasn't a big selling point for this. If i were able to choose any free anti virus of my choice, I'd probably have stuck with McAfee. This software just doesn't feel sturdy enough to protect anything--seems like it's really just a "oh hey i found something. you might want to address this".

Good for cost, bad for future-proof worriers.

Here's the good:
1) screen resolution (full 1080)
2) touch screen (great for Maps)
3) 8GB RAM is more than ample for every day use (moderate gaming, adobe photoshop CC)
4) lack of bloatware = take some time, remove any programs that are bloat (very few programs installed, anyways). 1yr office subscription was included in the promo during purchase.
5) size = thin & light. Battery life is moderate, as expected--expect less when using the touch screen.
6) Sound = really loud enough for playing audio and working around the room without straining to hear. I know it's no "Beats" or "Bose" quality, but volume and clarity are really good to the average user.
7) 4th gen i-7 = you're not going to find a lower pricepoint for an i7 with 8GB RAM and a 1080 screen. I looked, for at least 3 months. Maybe now that the 5th gen is about, this might not be the case. But while I was doing research this was the best machine available.
Here's the odd:
1) Not quite certain why you can bend the display as far back as you can, knowing it's not a 2-1 laptop/tablet.
Here's the bad:
1) touch screen = smudges to no end.
2) screen gloss = reflections reflections reflections from every angle
3) non-expandable RAM = really wish this were at least upgradable to 12.
4)"Veri-face" facial recognition can be disabled, but still runs regardless---"just in case you want to enable it". It's not system-taxing, but annoying to know it's running. Disable/remove at your own risk.
Here's the things to consider:
1) non-expandable RAM
2) not a Solid State Drive, and only 5400 rpm
Overall, I bought this machine to run light gaming (Fable Anniversary) and let my wife accomplish her business needs with Adobe Photoshop CC. So far it's handled all tasks perfectly and hasn't stuttered or strained at all. I can't say much in terms of extensive gaming, as I'm still in the process of getting it setup how I want it, but I don't expect issues.

Totally worth it. Buy it & install it yourself.

Operation is very quiet, food heats up quickly, installation was reasonable for a DIY individual.
Installation was probably about a 6/10 in scale of difficulty. If you've hung a shelf, you can install this microwave. (1) Locate/trace Studs (2) Drill bracket Holes & screw in the bracket. (3) Prepare the microwave ventilation (4) Cut the template for your cabinet style (5) Cut out the cabinet holes for the screws & power cord (6) place microwave on bracket and insert screws through cabinet base to hold microwave in place. (7) plug in microwave (8) make popcorn
The most intensive part of this whole installation process was changing the outlet above the range from a cap to an actual outlet.
If you're only one person getting this thing into place, use a sterlite/rubbermaid to get it close to the height and then its much easier. I did this since my wife is pregnant. You can do it. Especially consider this if you've already got a stove in place.

why mac doesn't support viruses??

why mac doesn't support viruses??
I'm sorry, what?
Mac's are vulnerable to viruses--regardless of what you've heard.

If you're asking "Why doesn't Mac support antivirus software?", it does indeed support antivirus software.
If you're asking "Why doesn't this software have Mac support?", it's stated in the description that it is supporting the Mac platform.
