Badass sound at an affordable price

For the price this is probably one of the best investments I've made. This sound system replaces the need for my Sonos, and is super high quality sound compared to the last 900$ surround system I got. The granular control for the settings and Visio cast make this flexible and youll never find yourself scrambling for one of 10 remotes... i love using just my phone for everything.
The only negative, and the reason it didn't get 5 stars is that the HDMI ARC can sometimes flake out after a power-cycle and can be a pain to get it to function again..

This is a great add-on if you want to be able to see what you are snapping for photos/video. This fits into the camera easily and comes with several back doors for both the standard and dive housing.
I was impressed with the brightness of this so it makes it easy to use in the bright sunlight. This will however lower your record times so I usually take it off if I am doing anything around water where I wont be able to easily replace batteries.

This didn't get 5 stars because the connector looked like it was jacked up, and also because this doesn't fit the dive housing. I thought originally is was jacked up but it's actually not, the connector is spring loaded skewed in order to perfectly line up with the cameras rear backpack connector. The reason for this is that the battery is part of the back door, you cannot separate the two, so they have to connect while you close the housing.
I originally exchanged this thinking it was messed up so don't make the same mistake.
Overall the product was excellent, it holds a massive charge and does not overheat the camera (which I was worried about). Keep in mind this will only work with the standard housing and NOT the dive housing :(

Works great clasp is flimsy

I originally purchased this housing because I was sure I would be going scuba diving, and wanted something a little (tougher) than the original housing. I was pleased to see it performed well during my use of about 30'
I also purchased a red filter for color correction which i Highly recommend doing if you are going to film deeper than 5'
The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 Is that the clasp seems a little flimsy compared to the standard housing. I did like that it locked, but I was worried about the durability. It does detach so I assume if it breaks it should be easy to find another clasp....
Do not expect GOPro to warranty your camera if the housing leaks, because they WONT. With that said make SURE that you clean the gasket of the housing thoroughly when opening this and closing it, as even a hair would compromise the seal and allow water in.

Super Fast works with GoPro

I was skeptical about this card working on my GoPro Hero 4 Black, but I was able to confirm that if you make sure and always format the card IN THE GOPRO, then it WILL work fine. This card din't heat up as much as the other cards I've tried. I is definitely not worth the retail price but Best Buy was able to price match against Amazon, so that was a win.
I was able to confirm read and write speeds are up to advertised and in some cases surpass them. I was able to get up to about 40-50MB/s write speeds in one test.

Does the LCD Touch BacPac screen work on the new gopro Hero?
Yes I have used it on the Hero 4 Black with standard and dive housings since it comes with doors for both.

Can this be used for selfie videos to see if you are in the frame?
I don't see how since the screen is attached to the back of the camera and you wouldn't be able to see it when the back of the camera is facing away from you when taking a selfie

Is the LCD screen just for playback?
Can I see on the LCD screen what the camera is recording as it is recording?
No, the screen also shows you live what you are photographing or filming, you can also set the sleep time that the screen will go to sleep to save power.

does it have to be attached to the gopro for you to control it . Can I use it from a far?
say instead of my tab can I use that as a view screen remote control.?
No This plugs directly into the back of the camera so you cannot separate the two. If you want that functionality then use the GoPro app on your smartphone and remote control it.

Why do the led lights on the battery stay on when on the gopro? Is that normal or is it on wrong?
The lights on the battery only stay on when you shake the battery. It's built to be able to see how much charge the battery has every time you shake it.

is the connector on the battery that plugs into the camera slanted??
Yes it's supposed to be because the battery is built into a back door for the housing, so it has to light up at an angle when you close the door/battery
