Love 'em--worth the price

These headphones sound fantastic. Once you hear these, you'll wonder why you ever put up with the tinny sound of cheaper earbuds. The ones that Apple gives you for free with your iPhone are especially horrible. These bring a surprising amount of bass, crisp highs, and an overall sonic clarity to your music that make them worth the somewhat steep price.
They also come with a nice case and interchangeable ear pads so you can customize your fit for your ear size.
Yes, they're a bit pricey...but if you want great sound with your portable music, you want these. Even an "average sounding" pair from JVC, SONY, etc will set you back $49 or more. I recommend you pay more and go for the high-end audio quality that Bose is famous for.
In addition, Bose really stands behind their products. When one of the volume control buttons fell off, they gave me a free replacement set of earbuds no questions asked. And, even after you've owned them past the 1-year warranty period, if they break for any reason you can buy a new pair (at a Bose store, at least) at a reduced price just by turning in your broken ones.
This pair I bought from Best Buy was actually a gift for my brother-in-law, but I've bought 4 sets of these or similar models over the last 6-7 years and I keep going back for more. (Don't worry--they're well made. I use them nearly every day and wear them out more than most people would.)

Great sound, Great system

This is my second SONOS Play:5. They recently came out with an updated version, but I already knew first-hand that this original model sounds great. So now that it is being discounted to make room for the 2015 model, I highly recommend picking one up.
Similar in size to a Bose wave radio or an old-fashioned "boom box", this thing delivers surprisingly deep bass and clear highs for its size. It also packs a lot of punch for a small unit. Although it is designed to deliver stereo, if you put two of them in the same room, you can program it within SONOS to act as separate left and right channel speakers. Also very handy is the fact that the unit has a CAT5 connection so you can easily extend your home network into whichever room you put this in and connect a printer, extra HD, etc.
The SONOS music system works flawlessly and all of the different products they make sound great. Setup is Apple-like in its simplicity and the controller app keeps getting better and adding more features. If you love music and want to have it available all throughout your home, it's hard to beat this system. My family and I use it to listen to MP3s, Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM, and Internat radio—sometimes all at the same time!
Over the last 5 years, I've acquired 6 different SONOS units--A Play:1, 2 Play:5s, 2 Connects and 1 Amp and now have music on every floor and within nearly every major room in my home. It's like a dream come true--and far cheaper and simpler than the $10K custom-installed systems of years past. I simply love being able to rock out to Zeppelin in my basement mancave while my daughter dances to Taylor Swift in the family room and my wife listens to an audiobook in our bedroom.

The thinnest iPad ever is also the most capable. It's loaded with advanced technologies, including the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

A welcome upgrade from my old iPad 2

The iPad Air 2 does everything my recently broken 4+-year-old iPad 2 did, but does it faster and at less than half the weight. It also adds Siri, fingerprint recognition, triples the resolution of the camera, adds Retina resolution AND an anti-glare screen, and more. So it is noticeably better in every way and I'm psyched to have the latest and greatest iPad (except that they introduced the iPad Pro a few days after I bought this!)
The only issue I really have is paying $525 for it (and that was on sale.) It just seems a bit pricey for a tablet no matter how good it is...especially given that last year's model is 90% the same but now available for about $100 less. I think Apple is gauging us all a bit, but I continue to buy their products because they are well-designed, easy to use, and full of clever features. My wife brought home a Surface Pro from the office, and it is an excellent machine, with many cool features. Unfortunately, after about a month of using it, she's ready to throw it out the window because it is buggy and doesn't work about 1/3 of the time. So I'm sticking with Apple, because their tech is smart, beautiful AND reliable.

The Play 1 is a nice addition to the excellent SONOS line of products. I'm using it to add music to our master bedroom. I have several zones throughout my house, using nearly all of the other SONOS products (Connect, Connect: Amp, and Play:5). This is the smallest, lightest speaker system they offer, but it still delivers crisp highs and surprisingly deep lows for its size. It's no match for my Play:5, but then again, it's $150 less!
My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't offer the "Line-in" function that most of the other SONOS units have. That would allow me to plug a CD Player, MP3 player, or TV into it if I ever needed to have quick access to a small, portable speaker with great sound. But overall, it integrated seamlessly with my network with the touch of a button, offers the option of creating a stereo pair, and does have a CAT 5 jack, so it's hard to complain.
I have used wireless speakers using WiFi in the past to bring music to different parts of my house, and they invariably lose signal or just stop working with no warning. The SONOS mesh network never lets me down, and I get a clear, distortion-free signal anywhere I put the speaker.
If I didn't already have a full surround sound system installed prior to the launch of SONOS, I would definitely buy a Playbar, a SUB, and use a set of these Play:1s as satellite speakers for sure.

Does what it's supposed to do--but could be better

This product is comparable to one Apple sells for a little less.
The big issue here is that this is a lot of money to spend on a fairly simple cable no matter which one you buy. But if you need to break out the component RCA signals (audio R,L, & video) from your iPhone or iPad, this will do the trick. Apple's version includes a built-in USB connector so you can keep charging your device while the cable uses the 30-pin connector to break out the audio and video. This cable DOES have a USB charging option, but incredibly it requires the purchase of an additional cable!
So, in the end, as much as this cable is fine and does split the signal effectively so I can watch iTunes video content and view apps on TV when I travel, I could have saved a little money and gotten the Apple version instead. Best Buy was out of them, but I needed this capability for an event, so I bought this instead.

What's great about it: Gold contacts and sturdy cable are a plus. Plus I prefer black.
What's not so great: High price point for a simple cable, lacks USB connector
