Buy an ice pick, too

This product design is just ridiculous. The ice maker doesn't keep the ice frozen, so once the ice starts melting, the pieces stick together, and you have to jab them with a utensil or break them apart to fit the ice into your glass. I took this product back for a refund after only one day. Buy an ice maker that has a freezer so your ice doesn't stick together. They are very expensive, but I searched and searched and found a refurbished one. Another option would be to buy a very small freezer and install an ice maker (the same you would see in a traditional refrigerator/freezer). Whatever you do, don't buy this product unless you also buy an ice pick.

Refrigerator with no freezer

We had a stand alone freezer given to us, which we put in the laundry room adjacent to the kitchen. I stored all frozen foods in it except for ice, which I stored in the kitchen in a traditional refrigerator/freezer. When our refrigerator/freezer died, we decided to replace it with a refrigerator only so we wouldn't have to play food Tetris and could easily locate and access any item. We purchased an under-the-cabinet ice maker, as well. It was refurbished, nothing fancy, just a little freezer with an ice maker in it, the same as you would see in a traditional refrigerator/freezer. This has worked out brilliantly, especially when we have parties and need extra space for platters or bottled waters. I will however, mention that I had a very unpleasant experience with Best Buy during the delivery process. It's a long story and I won't get into it here, but it was bad enough for me to decide that I will avoid shopping with Best Buy in the future, because I don't want to give my money to a company with such utter disregard for customer service. I've never had problems with them in the past, but it was a truly horrible delivery experience. The refrigerator is great. I love it!

Perfect crock pot for empty nesters

This crock pot is just the right size for a small roast with a couple of carrots, a handful of baby potatoes, and one big onion. There are little latches on the sides to hold the lid in place in case you travel with the crock pot. I like it so far. Works great.

I'm very pleased with the Ninja. After doing some research I decided on the 900W motor. This gadget is easy to use, and doesn't have a bunch of loose parts to clean. I've made smoothies, soup bases, and even blended my dog's heart worm meds with chicken broth, which worked like a charm, because he drank it all. I had a hand blender and a full size blender in the past, but this is better than of both of those.

External hard drive a must-have for video editors

Sure you can blend ice with whatever. It crushes ice easily.
