Great bargin on JVC car stereo

Bought an open box car stereo in one store and had it installed at another one. The installer was wonderful and everybody worked to insure it was installed in an efficient, timely manner.
The stereo does a whole bunch of stuff that I haven't even figured out, and will probably never use. Compared to the cantankerous original radio this is a great improvement. The sound is great and the features are easy to use.
Best Buy is my first choice for anything electronic!

Wanted a reliable phone without a lot of bloatware; any smart phone is going to have a lot of extra nonsense but Great Call has a fairly simple phone without too much of it. They also use the Verizon network so it is much more reliable than my last provider.
Also, kudos to Best Buy! They price matched the online price from the company and helped me through the process of getting it setup and activated.

Being a bit old school, i.e., not a techie, I depended on the Blue Shirt to recommend a decent modem. My Blue Shirt was great; listened to what I needed, answered my questions, and made his recommendation. This was easy to set up, like he said, and it works just fine most of the time.
However, my cell phone doesn't seem to link as regularly as it did with the last modem I had. Previously I rented a modem from Comcast because I had a landline as well. When I got rid of the landline I needed a modem. The Wi-Fi range on the new modem is not an issue because the cell phone can be sitting within a few feet of the modem and I'll still occasionally get the "No connection" notice.
Again, not being a techie, there may be something I missed. (Or perhaps I need a new cell phone!)
