Dries Nicely but the Filter May not Last

The dryer is doing a good job. It is quiet except for the tune it plays on start up and completion. That's somewhat annoying, but better than a beep. The filter has a plastic latch that doesn't seem durable, but it catches lint very well and is relatively easy to clean. It stacks securely on the washer BUT the controls are hard to see even for my 6'7" son because the top of the control panel tilts back. Fortunately there is a programmable key and once he set that up for me I can easily reach that to turn it on my most used cycle. The door placement is lower than my previous (Kenmore) set and that makes it easier for me (5'7") to load and unload. It dries well and catches the lint well.

Do more laundry in less time. This spacious Samsung washer takes fewer loads to get all your laundry done. Plus, you can use it anytime, because everyone will sleep right through the reduced noise and vibration levels.

A Washer that Washes Clothes and Plays Tunes

This washer replaced my 15 year old Kenmore front loader. It is doing a nice job cleaning - so far. I like the programmable key for my cycle. This makes running it very simple. I am a little concerned about the thumping it does as it balances every load before spinning. I hope this doesn't mean it will have a short life. It plays a tune when you turn it on, and when it finishes. The tune becomes somewhat annoying, but it is better than an annoying beep. It has a handle on each side for transport, but it would be nicer if there were 2 handles. It has a wonderful little door on the front that makes it super easy to clean the pre-filer when needed. This is an essential accessory for a front load washer as they all need to have their filter cleaned occasionally.

Condensation/condensate pump?
Hi,
My plumber is telling me that I need to buy a condensation pump to use with this dryer, otherwise water will collect in the dryer that I will have to remove manually. I have never heard of such a pump and can't seem to easily find one that would work. Can anyone help? (The plumber left for the holidays before giving me more information and I'd like to figure this out soon if possible.)

does it not come with a power cord included?
Power cord is NOT included. They are specific to your outlet in you home. Take a photo of your outlet to the store when you purchase the cord.

how does this door open?
The dryer door can open Left or Right. It is very simple to change it with a screwdriver. The directions are in the manual. We changed ours from Right hand door to Left Hand door.
