I just recently got into real estate photography. After a ton of research I decided to go with this lens. I couldn't have picked a better lens!! It performs just as good as, if not better than, the Canon EF 10-22mm for less than half the price. I've watched a lot of reviews comparing the two lenses and this one wins not only because of less chromatic aberration but also for its price. This lens is perfect for real estate photography because of its extremely wide angle. It can take a very small room and catch almost the entire room. My pictures look amazing thanks to this lens! On top of all of that, this lens also includes the STM focus system which allows you to record video and have the lens focus almost completely silent. There are only 2 negative things I can say about it. First, it's made of mostly plastic. It doesn't feel really cheap but it does feel less durable than a more expensive lens. This was probably one of the ways that Canon was able to keep the costs down. Secondly, it's not a very fast lens. It only does F/4.5 at best so it's not great in low light. I used a tripod for my darker shots so this was not an issue for me. I wouldn't recommend taking handheld photos in dark areas without a flash.
Pros: Relatively Low Price Very wide angle Image quality STM Focus Motor
Cons: Mostly plastic build Only F/4.5 (Not great in low light)
