Outstanding and reasonably priced. If you have odd-shaped plugs you will need power cable adapters with standard plug profile if you want to use all the ups power outlets. Not the fault of APC but engineers who think it's cool to design a plug the covers two or more receptacles regardless of where you plug in their device.

Tower unit on its side?
I'm planning to use this 1500 tower style battery back up in my entertainment cabinet. Can I use the tower unit if is it laying on its side instead of standing up?
The ventilation ports on the side should not be obstructed and the heat exhaust ports are on the top of the unit to provide proper air flow to dissipate heat. APC has other units with a low profile that may help in your situation.
