Surge protectors are undervalued pieces of equipment. I needed something that would allow me to plug in many devices and protect them. This one not only does that but has the dual usb power ports so I can free up a plug or two. I am not too delighted by losing a plug. This is mostly nothing new as most devices of this kind are not designed for the larger adapter bases. Overall I am not likely to run out of plugs.

Have been using it for a few weeks now. So far no issues, other than the occasional freezing. Do not expect this to be a heavy hitter computer and it definitely should not be purchased for gamers. As far as an office work computer (which is my need), it is reliable and I have had no issues. Toshiba is a reliable company, so I am expecting reliability for this laptop.

Good drive for the price but not always useable

Considering I wanted the drive for in car usb port for music, I was rather disappointed that the car did not recognize the drive. This is an issue with the drive not the car, as I use other kinds without incident. 32 gb is decent storage these days and small physical size is cool. Need to be careful if not leaving it into a computer as easier to lose.

Overall it is a great item. The battery does charge a little slow but it recharges the phone very quickly. You do have to be careful not to press the button on back when do not need to recharge. It also gets extremely warm/hot to the touch when recharging the phone. It should have also come with usb 3.0 ability for faster charging.

There is a VGA port and an HDMI port. I doubt that you could run 2 without a splitter.

Is the power plug a straight-in, or is it a right-angle plug?
Since so many surge protectors are used behind furniture for electronics, does the power plug for this unit have a right-angle plug to allow the cord to lay flat against the wall?
Yes it does have a right angle (downward) plug. However, the plug will not be flush as it still comes out about a 1/2 inch or so.
