How many cameras can be used on the same wifi network in the same home?
Is there a limit on the quantity of cameras I can use in the same installation and is there an address switch on the camera and do you look at a camera video live shot individually on the smartphone?
I have two cameras that I view on the Samsung camera web site and on my iPhone 4S. On both, it lets you register additional cameras. Doesn't look like there is a limit if you are want to view the scene live, but I bet Samsung may put a limit on the amount of video storage you can use on their site (not an issue if you store your video or images on an SD card).
On the smartphone, you (1) open the app, (2) log in with your username and password, though these can be "remembered", (3) the next screen lists all your cameras (give each one a different name), (4) select the one you want to view (only one at a time), (5) wait a few seconds depending on the speed of your internet connection, and (6) you camera view come on screen. (7) To go to the next camera, press the "Back" key on top left of the screen, and the list of cameras shows up again. (8) When you want to log out, press the "Back" key, then the "Logout" key. Otherwise it remains live and uses up your data allocation if you are not on free Wifi.
