I bought this to replace my wife's aging ASUS laptop that was having space issues. It is much faster (Core i5 vs Pentium), has more RAM (12 GB vs 4 GB) and a larger HDD (1 TB vs 250 GB). She loves the touch screen features, the faster wireless and the consistency with which it works. I will most likely go in and purchase another one for me. The ASUS brand has been a solid performing brand for us.

When I purchased our S7 phones, I needed cases. My local Best Buy only had one of what I did want in stock, so picked up this Speck case to provide some protection for the second.
After installing the case, I was very impressed. The likelihood of dropping the phone is decreased because of the raised rubber grips around the case. The case is very comfortable to hold. I can't speak to the level of protection that the case provides, but it appears that the phone would survive drops that occur during normal use. The construction is not unlike the other brand.

I put these in our S7 phones. They fit perfectly, work perfectly and are essentially the invisible partner to the phone. Once installed, you forget the micro SD is even there, unless it fails. The micro SDs hold a lot of data, such as music and photos. When taking photos with the phone and writing to the SD, there is no noticeable lag. I haven't tried recording HD video - but I am confident these Sandisk micro SD cards would be up to the task

I bought the Galaxy Tab A to replace an aging laptop computer. It connects easily to our dual band WiFi and stays connected. It updated to the latest version of Android and was easy to set up and personalize. Samsung provided software to may it easy to mirror my phone.
The screen resolution is not great, but more than adequate for web browsing, document editing and games. I would be hesitant to use for serious photographic purposes. Battery life is very good, and I can usually go all day and still have over 50% remaining. The cameras are less than expected, especially after seeing output from the S7 phones.
The main selling point for me is the S-Pen. The S-Pen gives me the ability to sketch out a design, add notes to photos or documents and control the device. Samsung hit it right with this.
I do not like the fact it is only a 16 GB device. Even with an additional 64GB card installed, applications try to save either to the device memory or to "cloud" storage provided by Google or Microsoft, depending on the app. On my device, the 16 GB filled rapidly, and there are apps that I don't use that cannot be removed. I also cannot save files to an NAS drive on our network, nor can I access files on our networked PCs.
I did find several apps that do allow me to print to a networked printer, from which I was able to print several e-mail attachments. The apps included to do this would only allow if I printed to PDF, stored on the appropriate cloud and sent to a printer that was in itself a wireless device (and supported by the printing app).
All in all, this was a good purchase for me, and I could recommend it to friends and family, but it is not a laptop replacement.

The Insignia travel adapter was the perfect addition to my laptop bag. I recently traveled to Singapore, Indonesia, India and several stops in China and this made powering the laptop a breeze. The integrated USB port also allowed me to charge my phone and other USB devices with no issues.
This does not do voltage conversion, so ensure whatever device you plan on powering is dual voltage compatible.

How do I insert the plug?
There is a plastic cover over the plug holes, how do I get that to retract?
The covers move out of the way when the male plug is inserted. It does make the plug a little more difficult to insert and remove, but it works great.

Yes, it will take a US grounded plug.

will this product convert the international power to US 110?
I am traveling to Ireland and want to know if this product will reduce the output of power to us 110 ac so to not damage mt electronics.
No, this does not do voltage conversion. Your device needs to be dual voltage compatible. The device(s) should say "input 110/230 v" on it.
