This watch is great I have the S8+ to go with the watch and what an amazing combination. The watch has battery life that makes my previous iWatch look sad. The true water resistance is another great feature and while this watch uses Tizen I'm not disappointed with the add-ons/apps that I can chose from. I love Apple products but after the S8+ and the S3 I'm not sure I will ever go back.

I've owned the first Gear Smartwatch, the Gear Neo, the Apple iWatch, and now I have the Gear S2 and of all the watches I've owned this is by far my favorite. Samsung truly hit on cylinders with this iteration of the Smartwatch: Great battery life, perfect size display, WATER RESISTANT!!, and syncs seamlessly with the S7. I just came from the iPhone 6s with the Apple iWatch and don't get me wrong both products are excellent in their own right (iPhone/iWatch), however the customization and features along with battery life for the Gear S2 and in combination with the S7 can't be beat. If your on the fence don't hesitate get this watch and they now have adapters so that you can put any band on the sport version just as an FYI.

Great sound poor build quality

These headphones sound good if you love bass and don't mind having your head in a vice. I use my headphones when I work and I will wear them for up to a 6 hours a day. These headphones started to become uncomfortable after 45 minutes. The problem is the pressure applied on your ears via the band. I did enjoy the sound, if your looking for a set of headphones that delivers a full dynamic range of sound, these are not going to satisfy you. The problem is you are paying for a name not quality. I'd recommend save a few dollars a pair of JBL headphones or spend more and get some Bose, you'll get better build quality and sound.

These headphones sounded great for the whole two days I used them at the gym. I was really disappointed that after 4 hours these headphones died on me. I ended up returning these and I purchased a pair of Jaybird X2s. You might have better luck than I, however I would advise caution, they sound great but don't seem to last.

I've tried Beats, Turtle beach, Monster, and Bose headphones and these are my favorite by far. User preference is very subjective when it comes to headphones so if you like bass that drowns out the mid's and highs "Beats", then these are not the headphones for you. If you are an enthusiast who enjoys the full spectrum but doesn't want to spend the money for "Bose" then these are the perfect alternative. These headphones sounded great however for the price I would expect nothing less. The reason I returned them after about twenty minutes my ears felt as though they had been placed in a vice. I purchased a pair of Sony headphones for less and wireless they actually sound better and are exceptionally comfortable.

Does it have a stopwatch function? I like to use a stopwatch when going for runs.
It does and it will automatically track your run as soon as you start which is a great feature as a fellow runner I can tell you this watch is a great companion.

Can this act as a stand alone device without a phone?
The Gear S2 needs to be paired with a smartphone to provide notifications, ATT does have a cellular version however I believe that to only be in the classic variant.
