I got the pro model because of the slim design. This device works for us I'm not sure why there are some bad reviews I think it's because It requires a good quick Internet access. I like the option within the software where you can set up motion sensing in certain areas that you choose to do avoid false alarms as much as possible. I love this technology where even if I'm not home I can still talk to whom ever is at my door.

Great combo unit

I had a similar keyboard and mouse combo unit from logitech before. I liked it a lot what happened is I damage the USB dongle so I had to buy new unit and like I said I liked it so much that I just bought another one because I really like the ergonomics and customizable keys.

This switch features a VGA port and 2 USB ports that let you share the use of a monitor and 2 USB peripherals, such as a mouse and a keyboard, between 2 different computers. The plug-and-play design allows easy setup.

Will this KVM switch work with a wireless keyboard / mouse combo?
I have the Insignia Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo set. They run off of a single USB dongle. Will this switch work and function with both or do I have to buy two separate peripherals?
Yes. I'm using a Logitech mouse and keyboard, and it works well. This combo unit also only uses one dongle.
