This cord does exactly what I need it to do. I chose this cord to replace the one that I keep in my car since I am rough on those cords, they get stepped on and unplugged in a hurry. I'm hoping that the braiding around this cord will keep the cable from getting messed up. So far, so good.

The first case that I opened didn't snap in place like it should. The iPad would just detach from the keyboard, even when I was just opening it. I ended up taking it into geek squad to ask if they had heard of an issue like this. When I showed them my issue, they said that it shouldn't happen so I traded it in for the same model.
This one has worked great, I could tell right away that this one was snapping in correctly. This is a great case. If it doesn't seem to snap correctly, you may have a defective one like I did at first.

Does what I needed

I got this to hold pictures for a digital picture frame. This works great for that. The only issue that I have is that it can be tricky to hold the USB port out while plugging it in. To be honest though, I haven't really looked too hard to see if there is a way to get it to stay out without me holding it. There may be a way to lock it in place that I am not aware of.
