always have them install. if they mess up they fix the issue with a new product of the same type till it's perfect. I recommend always having your screen placed on your device at the store. you won't regret it....i know I didn't

*DONT BUY!!!!* worst screen cover...ever. I'm big on zagg, but this product is horrible. lint and dirt make their way under the screen after screen is placed. protector doesn't adhere well, and when you try typing the other end of the glass closes the text or open/closes screen you are using. if you have galaxy 8+, choose the hd screen protector. that one is worth the money.
