This is ok for a cordless phone set but the speaker phone is not great on it and I never put a phone up to my ear. Large numbers and CID is great so no need for reading glasses to see. Like the talking caller ID as well

can you purchase only the remote unit, without the base unit?
You can get more remote units but you need a base unit for it to work
