This is the 3rd robot we have bought from Orbotix and every single one of them is fantastic. Each has their own unique characteristics, Ollie being no exception! Ollie is the easiest to control out of all their robots, able to not only roll incredibly fast outside but be very manageable inside as well. Tricks are easy to perform on most surfaces. Changing the tire treads have a significant impact on how well it will roll. Carpets slow it down so lightly treaded tires work best. Knobby tires are perfect for hardwood or outside. It will get scratched and knicked but it doesn't affect his speed or performance! It's made to be played with and is very hearty. My fiancée and myself now own one of these robots from this company (I personally aquired "Darkside Ollie") and they are worth every dollar. Very highly recommend!!

Good for iPads that stay at home

The case is simple and lightweight. Easy to install and clean but doesn't stand up well to travel. The sides that clip on to the iPad have a tendency to crack easily. This is the second case I've tried that has had this problem which is unfortunate because it looks solid and is so thin. I'd recommend it if you don't travel with your iPad much or as a basic cover for an iPad at home. Not recommended for airline or commuting travel.
