I was hoping this would not happen since I read reviews that after firmware updates the Hero 6 has become more stable but still has some issues.
Sadly my hero 6 was getting really hot and shutting down with 10 mins of recording 1080p/60fps footage. I tried with different SD cards and still I had issues.
It never locked up on me and I never had the freezing issue but I had the overheating issue.
I think the hero 5 is still a way better and cheaper option, with less issues I guess. The big minus is that it does not have the pretty decent stabalization that the Hero 6 has.
I gave up and returned the Hero 6. I would not buy it until better stupport and the issues get ironed out.

What a difference is to play using the pro controller. It is night and day compared to the switch controllers. The quality is great, the button feel and feedback is top notch and it makes playing games so much more natural and comfortable for the type of player that prefers using controllers over the motion stuff.

I am happy that the echo dot can recognize my voice without almost any issue. I have used it mostly to play music, check for my Amazon orders and calendar events and reminders. It is fantastic, fast and I find myself using it more and more.
I hope that Google and Amazon end their feud, it seems like it is coming to an end. I would love to control my crhomecast with voice commands out of the box instead of going out of the way to get in configured, it is possible, but it shouldn't be that lengthy at all.
Anyone wanting to buy this for Destiny Skills, they work but it might not be what you expect. You can change loads out but only in town, not in planets while you are in combat or even in the planet out of combat at all. It will transfer weapons from your vault to your inventory even if you are out doing events, but you need to equip it yourself. Other than that, for information and clan activities it is pretty sweet.

I have been waiting for this for months now. I was lucky to get one because I missed the pre sale so Thank You BestBuy for having another batch.
Starting with the hardware or at least with the construction quality. Everything feels solid. The controllers feel solid, the plastic is strong and it doesn't feel cheap. The buttons feel great and it is a very familiar feeling to the original SNES controllers, the size of the controller, the quality of the buttons when you press them... its amazing.
The console plastic is also very good, it will not bend and feels very strong. The Power and Reset button work just like the ones on the SNES. The eject button does not but that is acceptable but it would had been awesome to push it down.
So far I have not had any issues with the games/software. I played them all briefly and everything seems to work. Now I will spend some hrs playing a few of the titles to come back to my early teenage years.

Does this product work alone or do you have to purchase additional items to make it work?
It works on its own. You plug it for power and that is it. It does have a speaker so you can play music, it also has a 3.5mm plug if you want to plug it to speakers and I also believe it has BT built in if you want to connect it to BT speakers.
Set up is simple, download the amazon alexa app on your phone and in a few minutes you are done.
