People often over look the little things that can make a world of difference; like these cables with gold plated ends. Spending thousands of dollars on a UHD T.V. is all well and fine but being cheap on the connection wiring to save five bucks here and there is rediculous. Using the best available gold plated ends cables and HDMI wires for your HD and or UHD T.V.'s connections are the ONLY way to get the full performance out of the T.V. you just paid a lot on money for. Doing anything else is like driving a brand new high end car around on the cheapest gasoline possible. Also its very important to pay a little extra and get the HDMI wires that are rated for "IN WALL USE" not only if you plan on installing the T.V. on a wall and hence running/hiding the cables in the wall, but also if you're gonna just put the T.V. on a stand because these cables and wires are more insulated and thus will delivery to your T.V. more of the signal that they are supposed to do.

An all in one modem and router is the way to go because you get more WiFi power. That said, this product worked right out of the box, no need to call tech support and activate/trouble shoot. Additionally its good for up to 600 megs, which although not available any where yet, it will be one day so when that day comes there will be no need to buy another one. Also its duel band, which affords excellent WiFi performance and dependability throughout the entire house both up stairs and down stairs and not just close to the unit.

There are only a few choices when searching for a wireless keyboard, with a mouse on it and that's back lit. Most are cheap and don't work right, a couple are way over priced, but this "Logitech K830" unit is just right, not cheap and not too expensive and yet works correctly and fast with the lag. It charges quickly and holds a charge for days at a time. After owning this unit for a couple of weeks we returned to "Best Buy" and purchased 3 more just encase they ever stop selling them !

How often does the filter need to be changed and what is the operating cost for the year?
I believe when used 24/7 it requires filter replacement once a year.
The filter is expensive at about $200. but when compared with other units' filters costing $45. to $65. each that need to be replaced quarterly its actually less expensive to maintain annually than other units. Electrical costs are minimal as it is a "Energy Saver" device.

Wait, so do you need a pc for this or can you use it without it? If so, how?
No pc is required for this VR Unit.
The Unit hooks up directly to your WiFi and it only takes a half a minute to do this, likewise with hooking up the blue tooth between the unit and the hand controllers. It took approximately 4 to 5 minutes for the unit to hook up via blue tooth to me cell phone. Yes you need a smart phone only as a conduit.
