I bought this washing machine without the dryer because I prefer to hang my clothes to dry. One of the best features of the washer for anyone who line dries is that you can choose how much the load is spun at the end, which lets me get more water out of the clothes, decreasing drying time. I've had the machine for almost a month now, and it's working perfectly. On the advice of others who have similar models, I have been taking care to dry the rubber gasket inside the door after each use. The gasket itself can collect water, which could potentially lead to mold and eventually gasket replacement. I consider it a small price to pay for having all the functionality I want. I have had absolutely no leaks or other issues with the unit. In the event that changes, I'll come back to update my review!

heating?
Does this unit have the onboard water heating function?
The unit seems to have its own heating function for the purposes of the steam cycle. However, I suspect the hot water cycle simply uses the water at the temperature it comes from your home's hot water heater.

Does this washer come with the hot and cold water hoses?
When the unit was delivered, it came with a set of "standard" hoses. I believe there's an option to purchase fancy ones, but the ones that come with the unit have worked great for me so far.
