Apple finally got it right

Having pre-ordered the Apple Watch and anxiously awaited it being shipped I had very high hopes. Unfortunately the original Apple Watch missed the mark. It was slow, confusing, and suffered from short battery life. I am thrilled that Apple fixed all of these issues with the Series 1. No longer is the watch slow - it is fast enough that the speed is not noticible (a good thing). The confusing UI of WatchOS has been completely overhauled and is now what it should have been all along. Battery life is much improved as well.; easily lasting a full day even with lots of use.
As a bonus Apple has improved the workout app with more features and the ability to share stats with other Apple Watch users.
If you were on the fence about buying an Apple Watch it is now safe to take the leap!

Perfect for surfing on the couch

I bought this Dell for 2 use cases. The first was sitting on the couch with the family and using it to surf the web. Its so large that reading web sites is like reading a newspaper! Fantastic!
The second was to have a portable machine I can lug into any room in the house and do real work on when needed. Its way more convenient than a 17" laptop.
For these two uses, its fantastic. Battery life is easily 4-5 hours, and the device is surprisingly easy to hold on a lap or set on a table. The screen is very good - clear with nice colors. I especially like the thin frame with the rubber edge. It feels nice and feels like a quality device.
The included wireless keyboard is great too, with very good keyfeel. In fact, I'd say its the best feeling keyboard I've used in years.
The only downside is that the device is pretty slow, especially with the spinny-disk storage. I didn't test the hybrid drive, but I have to believe that configuration would be WAY faster than the spinny-disk only model I bought. I don't think this would be a good machine for playing graphics intensive games either. The video capabilities are just too limited.
But, it runs Windows 8 apps just fine, and MS Office too.
I'm pretty happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a single device that can do double duty as a massive tablet and a low-end desktop at the same time.

This monitor does exactly one thing - measures blood pressure. It requires a smartphone app to control it, and in fact it cannot be used without a smartphone. It's reasonably small and very portable, great for travel. I compared it to a doctor-calibrated Omron unit and it is very accurate and reliable. It is among the slower units, taking almost a minute to complete.
Setup is easy.
If you want a Bluetooth blood pressure monitor, or if you want a battery-powered cuff suitable for travel, this one is highly recommended. If you plan to use it primarily at home, I would suggest a cheaper and more full featured "traditional" digital monitor.

Yes. You can use the onscreen keyboard when your wireless keyboard is not being used.
