I bought it in a "open-box, excellent certified by the Geek Squad" condition. I was a little nervous about that but it arrived just as described; in excellent condition practically brand new. Also I loved how on time the delivery was. I had previously bought a laptop from Walmart and the shipping was a nightmare, it took about 3 weeks to arrive and when I tracked it back to where it was coming from, it turns out it had only been 20 minutes away from my house. Anyways, the laptop is great! it has a very sleek and elegant look to it, the touchscreen is very responsive as well as the trackpad. The backlit keyboard is just right although there is not a choice on how bright you want it, just on and off. the only thing that I wish could be different is the keyboard letters, they are slightly difficult to see when not in a well lit room but the backlit keyboard makes up for that. that's really it though, the laptop's quick and its resolution looks great. oh and the 360 transition works very smoothly. All in all a great buy.

I purchased this laptop because it says 9.5 battery life but when i received it, it only lasted for 4 hours? Is this accurate???
that happened to me too but what I realized happened was that I had too many things running at once and I pulled the brightness down a bit and in like 5 mines it was saying 7 hrs and 40min instead of 4 hrs.

Where is the silver color used on this laptop? Are outer covers silver? And inside keyboard color is gold? When I look at the images provided on the website I can't see any color difference between (a) HP m3-u103dx with (b)HP m3-u003dx.
