Years back, Whirlpool bought the factory in Iowa that made bottom-freezer refrigerator for Amana and Maytag. This is one of a few models Whirlpool sells based on the old design. It is still 'murican made, and still has the best interior construction available. Not fancy, just sensible, Fits older homes well.

Probably not without some fiddling around. The Smart TVs that have Skype apps generally use a proprietary camera for the simple reason that the consumer electronics business is stupid about this stuff.
