Are you saying the drive in the computer is 1 TB ? If so then, if you wanted to back it up you would need a drive of either the same capacity or more.

Xbox slim?
I recently purchased this game and needed to but a hard drive to play this game? I bought an external hard drive, but apparently got the wrong thing. I am searching online, and I see alot of off brands, but they all say "slim". How would I know if my unit was a "slim" and what product do I purchase?
If you have an Xbox 360 Slim. Microsoft has a proprietary hard drive.
The same is true for the non slim model, though the drives are not compatible. The hard drive for the slim is available through Best buy & other retailers and is only made by Microsoft.

Using an internal hard drive as an external storage hard drive?
I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 internal hard drive that is in working condition. The power button on my emachine finally gave it up and we bought an HP 2000 laptop from Best Buy. I took the hard drive out and have information on it that I would like to retrieve. It is possible to use this as an external drive? And if not, how can I get my info off?
Yes, you can use an internal drive as an external. You can purchase a enclosure, which Bestbuy does sell. It connect to the computer through USB and the machine will see it as a second drive. The only thing is make sure the enclosure supports the interface of he drive. You didn't mention how old the machine was. But most new computers have been using Sata. So you shouldn't have any problems there.

Is if worth updating an old hard drive or am I better off buying a new computer?
I purchased a new monitor about 2 years ago but my hard drive now needs to be updated. I need memory, maybe 32 and Microsoft office. Is it better to purchase a new computer instead?
It all depends on the age of the machine. If it's more than 5 years old and running XP. Then buying a new machine would be better. If it's a bit newer than that running 7 or even 8. Then you can just replace the drive.
There are two options, you could replace the hard drive outright, which would require a re installation of the OS. Or, most computers even older ones have a second hard drive bay and will allow you to run them both simultaneously. With the second larger drive being a storage drive only.

I want to play battle field 4 and have the xbox 4 GB black slim what do I buy
You don't really need much more. If you need space, for saves or installing the game. They sell a hard drive, for the slims. You can continue to use the 4Gb space that is already there, even after putting in the new drive.

The original model, not slim. Has a proprietary Hard drive that snaps onto the outside of the console. At this point, I'm not sure if Bestbuy sells the hard drives anymore. There are many places that do still have them either new or used. Hope that helps.

Can this fit into a PS4?
Yes, this hard-drive does work in the PS4. Its quick and easy to change it out.
