Sluggish but good enough

Bought 2 to replace the awful Time Warner $3/ month Cisco boxes. Roku itself and all apps (except Time Warner) are very dependable. Time Warner app gives occasional error codes, drops subscription info or just won't work sometimes when everything else is fine. That said, still a better experience than the digital converter Cisco boxes. Significantly slower than Roku stick but gets the job done. Hopefully Roku stays on top of Time Warner and requires better service from their app.

Lenovo Z50 Laptop: Stay productive and entertained wherever you go with this 15.6" laptop. You can house plenty of photos, music and movies on the generous 1TB hard drive and pair with other devices and peripherals via Bluetooth 4.0. If you want to connect to a larger display, simply use the HDMI output to link with your HDTV or monitor.

How do I know if my Samsung HDTV will work with Roku to stream from my PC? Right now if I connect my laptop to the TV with a HDMI cable I can hear the audio but can't see the video.
